Rachel Niceley- Owner/ Operator
Rachel Niceley is the woman behind all the activities here at the farm. She has lived at Riverplains her whole life and has competed in all sorts of equestrian disciplines such as: foxhunting, hunters, jumpers, carriage driving, dressage, eventing, hunter breeding and competitive trail. Now a strong aspect of the breeding program along with her uncle Bill Niceley, she will be offering a wider selection of horses and ponies available for sale and for breeding. Member of the Tennessee Valley Hunt Club, Carolina Carriage Club, American Driving Society, Carriage Association of America East TN District Representative for the American Warmblood Society. |

Rachel Niceley graduated from The Webb School of Knoxville in 1998. Following a desire for International Business, she moved to Durango, Colorado and went to school at Fort Lewis College. After a brief semester at Carson-Newman College she transferred to The University of North Carolina, Asheville. From there she continued studying International Business in Costa Rica at La Universidad Veritas.
